Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of guangzhousources.com and to the sourcing services provided by Guangzhou Sources ("we", "us"). By sending a request or paying a proforma invoice you agree to them. Questions: [email protected].
1. What we do
We are an independent sourcing agent. We help you find and check suppliers in China, follow up production, inspect goods and coordinate shipping. We sell services only. We do not sell products, we are not the manufacturer and we are not a party to your purchase contract with the factory.
2. Quotes and proforma invoices
Prices shown on this website are a guide. The binding scope and price of each job are the ones stated in the proforma invoice or written quotation we send you, which is valid until the date shown on it.
3. Payment
- Our service fees are paid to us as stated in the proforma invoice, by bank transfer or the online methods offered there.
- You pay the factory directly for the goods, to the factory's own company account. We do not collect or hold payment for goods on your behalf.
- Work starts when the deposit stated on the proforma invoice has been received.
4. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for giving us accurate product specifications, for decisions on which supplier to use, and for compliance with the import rules, product standards, labelling and certification requirements of your destination country.
5. Inspections and reports
Our audits and inspections check what can reasonably be checked on the day, using the sampling method agreed with you (for example AQL). They reduce risk but cannot guarantee that every unit is free from defects, or how a factory will perform in the future.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a job before work starts and receive a refund of fees paid, less any bank charges. Once work has started, fees for work already done are not refundable. If we cannot deliver a service we have accepted, we will refund the part not delivered.
7. Liability
We are responsible for carrying out our services with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of factories, carriers or other third parties, for losses caused by information you gave us, or for indirect losses such as lost profit. Our total liability for any job is limited to the service fees you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Confidentiality
We keep your product details, designs and supplier information confidential and use them only to deliver our services to you.
9. Website content
Guides and answers on this website are general information, not legal, customs or financial advice. Example orders and figures are illustrations.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. We will first try to solve any disagreement through discussion in good faith.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you accept a proforma invoice applies to that job.
